The nonprofit that we are honored to support, Runway for Recovery, is expanding out West in 2023. Kicking off its seventeenth year, the charity's decision to expand inspired us to create a bag and clutch that reflected the new location. While New England was home to Cande Achtmeyer’s peony garden, whose daughter Olivia founded Runway for Recovery; the “West Coast” design is inspired by Rachael’s spirit and the splash of the waves on the California beaches.

About the Event
The Runway Show is more than a fashion show. Models are survivors, thrivers, previvors, and the legacies of those who have passed from breast cancer. Each one has a story and each one understands the impact a breast cancer diagnosis can have on a family. 

At Runway for Recovery, it is understood that breast cancer never impacts just one person. No matter how long the journey, no matter how difficult the struggle, their core belief is that the runway is shorter when we walk together.
